Things have been pretty great overall this year, I had the chance to play in Philadelphia, Vancouver, and my hometown of Albuquerque. I think those were my biggest highlights as far as events I played. Locally in Arizona, there’s been more of a focus on developing our event brand, Circuit with my partner Michelle Sparks. I’ve also spent the year doing a lot of networking for some big plans coming in 2023 like our new plans for a label.

Juheun’s production prowess in the studio has landed him releases on powerhouse labels in the techno scene. As he rides the high of releases on labels such as Octopus Records and Set About, the iconic American-Korean techno producer Juheun announces his return to Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou Records.

This particular release was something that came about almost by accident. I had already finished the record and was working on figuring out who I wanted to remix it and where I felt it might make a great fit as far as the label was concerned.

I’m a big fan of all things space exploration, science, tech, and future. I try and incorporate as much of these ideas, visions and concepts into my music. I think the latest term is cosmic techno, but for me techno is all these things in one.
