This is the second time Juheun appears on the label — his previous outing was via a collab with Japan’s Drunken Kong last year for the spellbindingly raw and energy-filled cut, ‘Open Door’.

Every city has its own scene, and it’s refreshing to see people who are just as passionate as I am about techno. One of my favourite things is hearing what the local DJs are into and how they play. This is what really inspires me and keeps me pushing. Nothing is more exciting than to receive amazing vibes and energy from the dance floor and bringing it back to the studio with me. I’m also very heavy into producing on the road on my laptop, and I often find myself back in the hotel or on the next plane ride with my mobile studio working on new ideas and beats.

One of the most authentic stars to emerge onto the US techno circuit in the past decade, Juheun is pushing his performance setup to the next level in 2023 with the announcement of his debut initiative within the live space. Travelling through North America, Latin America, Asia and beyond, Juheun will present a live hybrid setup through his upcoming Multiplanetary Tour, whilst showcasing a whole host of unreleased music alongside the cardinal cuts of his discography.

Techno visionary, Octopus Recordings mainstay, and Circuit ringleader, Juheun, is the type of creator who strives to stay one step ahead of the curve. The desert-dwelling Juheun has become quite an indispensable member of both the techno community as well as the Octopus Recordings family since his arrival on the production front over a decade ago.
